Part 1 of "My Small World" by Jen Kignwell

I have started another fun quilt. This one will take a bit of time to complete. It must have thousands of pieces! The pattern is "My Small World" by Jen Kingwell. (33x52)

Look at all the fun things going on in this quilt!

I think she was inspired by Disney's It's A Small World!
(This photo is from the Disney in Hong Kong I think.)

This is the elusive magazine that contains the pattern!

There are some foundation piecing papers that you can get
if you send a "ransom" photo to SewWhatSherlock@gmail.com.
Sarah Bailey of SEW WHAT SHERLOCK? wants your face, proof you have the pattern, your Instagram name and the date in the ransom photo. She was kind enough to make these PDF files available to anyone who asks--if they pay the ransom! It makes many of the sections SO much easier and SO accurate! Thanks Sarah!!

I cut tons of 1 1/2" squares for the sky section and put them all in a box lid.

This is the beginning of Part 1. Can you see how much fun I'm having?

This is the bottom section. I'm going to use as many fabrics as I can!
This is Part 1 finished. It is 12 x 33.

Now on to Part 2....

Linking to Finish it Friday at Crazy Mom Quilts.
