The Love Project--trimming seams

If I am starting with 1" squares of fabric and the finished square is 1/2" then 75% of that 1" square is behind the quilt in the seam allowance. To help keep things from getting too bulky, I trim EVERY seam to 1/8". Tedious, yes, but necessary.
The seams are pressed in opposite directions so the horizontal rows will be easier to sew.

These seams have all been trimmed to a neat 1/8".

This is my box of cuttings.

This is how WIDE the quilt will be.
This section will only be half this tall because of the horizontal seam allowance.

Someone asked if I had any cat patterns. No but I did make this cat.

I don't know what possessed me to do this but this cat is made from all fussy cut cats and ONE mouse! Three of the cat faces are upside down.

Close up of the eye.

Meow.
